Hey there! I’m Julia, the owner of friendz childcare. I have 10 years of childcare experience. I love how authentic children are and I know how much they can teach us! I love providing a safe, loving, and fun environment for children to learn and grow at their own pace. Luke and I have been married for 11 years, and have 3 incredible children! We love spending time outside and all things sports. We truly are so grateful to call our childcare children and parents, family ❤️
Meet Ms. Hannah!
Hi, I’m Hannah! I grew up in Northern Utah and moved to Cedar City two years ago for school! I’m currently studying elementary education at SUU and am super excited to graduate and dive into my teaching career next year! I also play flute in a few ensembles at SUU, which is where I met my husband, Taylor. I have had so much fun with your kids, and absolutely adore working with them! 🙂

I’m Charlet! I grew up here in Cedar! My dream was always to work with children! I didn’t know what that would mean, but I am so happy and grateful to work here with all these kiddos! I love music, and going to concerts, and traveling! I’m trying to make the most out of my life and I’m happy that all the kids and parents get to be a part of it!

My name is Rebecca, most know me as Becca. I was born and raised in Southern California. My boyfriend, 2 fur babies and I moved up here in July to be closer to family and work opportunities. I love spending time with my loved ones, cuddling my dogs, singing, cooking, and being outside by some trees! It has been an honor to get to care for our little friends. I have loved having the opportunity to not only teach them, but learn from them.

How is billing and communication handled?
We use the brightwheel app for parent communication, billing, and all daily updates for your child.
Do you accept State Subsidy?
Yes!
What is the meal schedule like?
The menu is posted on the bulletin board, you can request a copy if needed.
Schedule:
Breakfast- 7:30 AM-8:45 AM
AM Snack- 10:00 AM
Lunch- 12:00 PM
PM Snack- 3:30 PM-4:30 PM
(Kindergarten kids are fed lunch early on early out Fridays)
What is your sick policy?
Your child is not allowed to attend childcare if they have a fever of 100 degrees, have thrown up or had diarrhea within 24 hours, or have any form of contagious illness or condition. Children need to go a full 24 hours symptom free without the help of medication before they can return to care
Are diapers and wipes provided?
We provide wipes, and parents bring the correct sizes of diapers for their children.
Do you have late fees?
Our late fees: $10 for the first 15 minutes late in picking up your child and $5 for every minute following. This helps our childcare run more smoothly and be more predictable.
What is your discipline policy?
Children are expected to play and interact with the other children in the ways that are developmentally appropriate for their age. If someone is at risk of hurting themselves, others, or property then they will be taken aside to talk through the issue or to have a time out until they are ready to play appropriately. Children are never punished, threatened, or mistreated.
Do you offer preschool?
We currently do not offer preschool in our childcare, but we do have an external option with transportation provided if this is needed. Please reach out for more information.
